I'm no 10 but i definitely wouldn't consider myself a 5, i also put this same photo on photofeeler and I got much higher ratings, what's up with the voting here ?
Plenty of people here are higher than 5 but they still get voted that or lower, i don't get it, most people who are well groomed are easily higher than a 5.
It is more about being handsome then being groomed, of course it helps, but the main point is face architecture. You don't really have any unattractive face features, but you are not a supermodel either. Looks add you extra point or a half, but not more. 5-6 is a honest rate and it means that you are good looking
Well, the website is called face shape so according to your definition it does make sense, either way I'm not too fussed about the results here anymore since in photofeeler apparently this photo gives trustworthy and smart vibes, (score still higher than a 9 on both of those traits from 77 votes in dating category) which are more important than just being attractive in real life (yes being attractive matters but for me not as much as for example those two traits) and a solid 8 on attractiveness, i will take that ! :)

i mean ye, obviously you cant know if someone is inteligent or trustworthy FOR SURE just from a picture , but im guessing its more about if the picture gives those impressions or not.
