I think it can somewhat. Wearing good clothes doesn't make you good looking, anyone can do that. Clothing isn't an actual part of your body. Like nobody would wanna hop in bed with you because you have a nice shirt on. Cause you're not be wearing that shirt anyway when you're bangin em. Lol jk. However someone whos good looking but their clothes look like they stole them from a homeless person insn't gonna have much appeal, and will probably be looked at really weird. Like there was this one dude I knew in high school who was very good looking facially, but his pants had holes in the back of them so you could literally see his underwear poking through and the bottom of his shoes were dangling off. He got made fun of and laughed at all the time. If he wore better clothing he undoubtedly would have gotten a ton of attention but nobody was attracted to him due to him looking like he slept in a dumpster every night. So yeah, I do think they somewhat matter for attraction, but just wearing good clothes doesnt automatically make someone good looking. You need to have good physical features as well.
