I think short sides and back with longer on top would look very nice and professional!

Yeah I think that could work too, as long as the sides are clean, I think you have lots of possibilities. Worst case, it'll grow back again :)

If you have oval face then you can have many hairstyles. I think you will be really cool with brush up.
