i'm very shy and i never know what to ask at the barber's, so i end up with tragedies because i don't know what to ask for. i want to find a haircut and stick to it to make things easier, but i'm having a hard time finding one. any advice?

i'm not a fan of shaving/fading my hair because i think it makes my jaw and chin look weird, but my face is also very soft and i'm looking for something that helps me balance it.

edit: i know i'm ugly, it's not my fault. pls no shaming
